Caregiver - Assisted Living

Caregiver Type: Full-Time Available Shift: Day shift (6am-2pm) ; Evening shift (2pm-10pm); NOC (10pm-6am) Various schedules available, weekend availability needed Wage: $14-$16/hr DOE Location: Avamere at Cheyenne - 6031 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89108 The caregiver's duties encompass a wide range of tasks, includingassisting with activities of daily living, emotional support, housekeeping, and ensuring the resident's safety and well-being. Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Personal Hygiene:Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Mobility Assistance:Supporting residents with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids. Meal Preparation:Assisting with setting up meals, cutting up food if needed, and removing trays from rooms. Emotional Support and Companionship: Providing Emotional Support:Offering empathy, listening to residents, and providing encouragement. Companionship:Engaging in conversations, activities, and social interactions to combat loneliness and isolation. Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up. Health Monitoring and Medical Advocacy: Observing residents for changes in health, reporting concerns to medical professionals, and monitoring vital signs. Other: Answer resident calls for assistance timely. Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe work environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Maintain confidentiality of resident information. Maintain a safe work environment. Report safety concerns in the resident apartments to the supervisor. Assists with the orientation of new residents and staff when assigned.
