Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring an MFM Sonographer with at least 1 year of maternal-fetal medicine experience and 3+ years overall ultrasound experience for a high-risk OB ultrasound unit. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of ultrasound experience with at least 1 year of MFM-specific experience Current BLS certification (AHA) License required if applicable Epic charting experience required Strong skills in obstetric imaging, measurement accuracy, and Doppler studies Ability to maintain accreditation standards (AIUM) in imaging and documentation Responsibilities High-Risk OB Ultrasound unit with 6 scanning rooms and one coordinator Utilizes brand new Samsung Hera Z20 ultrasound machine Performs comprehensive obstetric ultrasounds including first trimester scans (NT, early anatomy), detailed second- and third-trimester anatomy surveys, growth and biophysical profiles (BPP), multiple gestations, cervical length assessment, placental evaluation/PAS, and Doppler studies (umbilical artery, MCA, ductus venosus) Supports evaluation of complex maternal and fetal conditions and identification of abnormal findings Supports fetal therapy and invasive procedures such as amniocentesis, CVS, and PUBS (performed by physicians, not sonographers) Anatomy scans scheduled for 45 minutes (90 minutes for twins); follow-up/NT early anatomy exams scheduled for 30 minutes (60 minutes for twins) Day shift schedule from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM 13-week assignment Provide compassionate, sensitive care to patients facing high-risk pregnancies while maintaining privacy and staying within scope of practice when explaining procedures Accurately document exam data into EMR/PACS systems Collaborate closely with MFM physicians, radiologists, nurses, genetic counselors, and support staff in a multidisciplinary care setting Promptly communicate abnormal results to providers, with bedside consults performed as needed Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, MA; standard rate reduced by 5% for local candidates Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-759002 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
