As a Financial Specialist, you will provide a range of bookkeeping functions for Guardianship Options by coordinating with Guardian/Conservator in the management and reporting of the financial affairs of its vulnerable clients. A diverse workplace An outstanding reputation As a Financial Specialist you will: Maintain financial documentation according to policy and present to all internal and external auditors upon request. Document and bill service hours for each assigned client following LSS GO policy and procedures. Handle all finances associated with the client's estate, including but not limited to payment of bills, reconciling accounts, handling deposits, etc. Financial Specialist Minimum Requirements: A two-year associate's degree is preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in accounting, banking or customer service is required. Coordinating skills required to organize and maintain separate financial records for 30 to 60 individual clients. Computer literacy, spreadsheets, word processing and basic budgeting is required. Strong communication skills are required to work as a team and present financial information in a conscientious manner. Also required to be a good listener and ask questions Strong administrative skills needed to monitor financial data and interrupt financial policies and procedures. Able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner. A DHS criminal background check is required. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail regarding financial tasks (paying bills, transferring assets, depositing client funds). Good planning and organizational skills; able to determine priorities and manage time appropriately. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills required to analyze problems regarding best interests of clients
