Job Summary:
Telemetry registered nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing evidence-based, patient-centered care within the scope of practice outlined by the California Nursing Practice Act and regulatory standards. The RN will assess patients, interpret clinical data, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The position emphasizes family-centered care, education, and continuous professional development.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; ability to communicate effectively in English; minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are advantageous
• Additional Information: The RN will create a healing environment through attentive presence and emotional support, manage patient discomforts, and facilitate recovery or end-of-life processes aligned with patient wishes and cultural considerations. They will conduct accurate assessments, collaborate with the team to develop individualized care plans, and provide patient and family education on self-care and illness prevention. The nurse will also participate in team activities, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, utilize clinical technology, and engage in ongoing professional development.
