Job Description
TITLE
RN - MS/Telemetry

SCHEDULE
Shift: Nights, 7:00pm-7:00am

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Duration: 13-week contract

REQUIREMENTS
- Active RN license in the state (not compact)
- BLS certification
- Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months
- EPIC experience required
- Key clinical skills:
- Cardiac/telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
- Rapid response/code team activation and emergency response
- IV therapy and peripheral line care; basic phlebotomy
- Oxygen administration/non-invasive airway support
- Isolation precautions

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and health status, responding to changes as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Document patient care processes and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday requirement: Available every other holiday, if needed
- Floating: Required to float within your skillset
- Scrub colors: Navy blue and white (any combination)
