This position reports to the Senior Director, Marketing – Medical Dermatology and the work location is Princeton, NJ (3 days in the office per week).The Associate Director, Marketing - Biologics is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the brand vision, driving long-term growth, and ensuring successful commercialization across core and expansion indications. This role operates at a highly strategic level, influencing enterprise decision-making, guiding cross-functional teams, and leading critical initiatives to strengthen market leadership.The position requires deep expertise in biologics marketing, strong enterprise thinking, and the ability to translate insights into impactful strategies that drive measurable business outcomes. The Associate Director will play a pivotal role in launch excellence, lifecycle management, and market expansion within dermatology, immunology, and rheumatology.Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Brand OwnershipCo-own and shape the long-range brand strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and evolving market dynamicsLead development of annual brand plans, financial forecasts, and strategic imperatives, with accountability for performance across indicationsDrive enterprise-level strategic decision-making by synthesizing market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer needsServe as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, influencing brand direction and investment prioritizationLaunch Excellence & Market ExpansionLead end-to-end launch strategy and execution for Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA), ensuring best-in-class readiness across all customer touchpointsDefine and drive market expansion strategies within rheumatology and adjacent inflammatory disease areasEstablish clear value propositions and positioning to differentiate in highly competitive biologics marketsCustomer & Market StrategyEngineer integrated customer engagement strategies across HCPs, patients, and key stakeholdersTranslate emerging clinical data and insights into compelling, differentiated messaging platformsOversee KOL engagement strategy to shape perception, advocacy, and scientific leadershipAnticipate and respond to payer, access, and policy dynamics influencing market adoptionLifecycle Management & InnovationLead lifecycle strategy and portfolio optimization, identifying new growth opportunities and mitigating competitive threatsChampion innovation in Omni channel marketing, leveraging digital, data, and personalization to enhance engagementIdentify and scale new commercial capabilities that improve effectiveness and ROICross-Functional LeadershipAct as a central integrator across Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Analytics, Finance, and Regulatory, driving alignment and accountabilityLead cross-functional teams to translate strategy into execution, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and resultsInfluence without authority in a complex matrix to deliver against brand objectivesExecutional Excellence & GovernanceProvide oversight of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency, quality, and strategic alignmentEstablish and monitor KPIs and performance metrics, optimizing investments based on data-driven insightsLead agency strategy and performance management, ensuring strong partnerships and innovative outputEnsure all activities adhere to MLR and compliance standardsEducation & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred7+ years of progressive pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience, with increasing strategic responsibilityDemonstrated experience in US biologics marketing within dermatology, immunology, or rheumatology requiredProven track record of leading key brand initiatives, including product launches and lifecycle strategyStrong experience developing and executing integrated HCP and patient marketing strategiesDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholdersAdvanced experience in market analytics, forecasting, and financial managementDeep understanding of specialty market dynamics, including access, reimbursement, and payer landscapeExperience managing complex agency ecosystems and multimillion-dollar budgetsThe presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $164,500 to $201,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program.
