Director of Maintenance

Facilities & Maintenance ManagerWe're looking for a hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee preventive, emergency, and technical maintenance across two store locations. In this role, you'll keep equipment running smoothly, maintenance calendars on track, and both properties looking clean and well-maintained. You'll serve as the go-to contact for stores, outside vendors, and maintenance requests, while also leading and supporting a preventive maintenance technician to ensure every job gets done right and on time.ResponsibilitiesOversee monthly and quarterly preventive maintenance calendars across both storesComplete equipment deep cleans, technical preventive maintenance, and repairsRespond to and resolve help tickets within 24 hours; serve as point of contact for stores and outside vendorsConduct monthly walkthroughs and document findings on the maintenance walkthrough sheetTrack preventive maintenance completion mid-month and log repair costs/savings on the ROI sheetReport equipment negligence to store General ManagersPerform weekly window washing and exterior site checksSupervise the preventive maintenance technician, ensuring work meets manufacturer/Pathways specs and that they have the tools and materials neededCommunicate regularly with leadership on assignments and completed work; maintain personal records of work performed and equipment statusPerform inspections, identify issues, and make minor to moderate technical/mechanical adjustmentsEnsure emergency repairs are completed promptly; remain available for emergency callsReview the QR code issue-tracking sheet dailySend weekly status updates to store GMs and leadershipCoordinate parts ordering, securing budget approval before purchaseComplete electrical audits and safety checks during non-operating hoursLead maintenance training/workshops for team-level staff and aboveMove heavy equipment (up to 100 lbs. with assistance); work in tight spaces, at heights above 10 ft, and in varying weather conditionsWork Experience3+ years of experience in facilities, equipment/property maintenance, construction, or a related fieldExperience supporting multiple locations, managing vendors, tracking maintenance costs, and leading preventive maintenance programs preferredEducationNo specific degree required; any combination of relevant training, education, and hands-on experience will be consideredSkills & RequirementsFamiliarity with basic hand tools and general mechanical/technical troubleshootingStrong organizational skills and ability to track multiple maintenance schedules and budgetsClear written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working independently and managing vendor relationshipsAbility to lift/move up to 100 lbs. with assistance and work at heights, in tight spaces, and in varying weatherValid driver's licenseWillingness to complete equipment-specific training and use maintenance-tracking softwareWork ScheduleOn callMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityBenefitsFlexible schedulePaid time offHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceDisability insurance401(k) matchingReferral programEmployee discountPaid training
