Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company , is partnering with a global production company to recruit an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal . This is a part-time, long-term temporary opportunity supporting a dynamic in-house IP team.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: indefinite
• Hours: 10-20 hours/week with potential to ramp up
• Location: Hybrid – Atlanta, GA
• Compensation: $35-40/hour (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

· Provide support for commercial litigation and domestic relations cases, including a substantial case slated for mediation.

· Assist in case preparation, including document review, organization, and management.

· Support attorneys during depositions, including attending depositions in person in Midtown Atlanta.

· Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

· Assist with mediation preparation, including compiling exhibits, preparing summaries, and coordinating logistics.

· Support trial preparation in the event mediation is unsuccessful, including organizing trial materials and exhibits.

· Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

· Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed.

Candidate Profile

· Proven experience as a paralegal, with a focus on commercial litigation and/or domestic relations.

· Prior experience supporting mediation processes is required.

· Familiarity with deposition processes and procedures.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage complex case materials.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
