Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An established specialty mail-order pharmacy focused on HIV and Hepatitis medications seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Largo, MD. This fast-paced environment offers an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians to apply their expertise and contribute to patient care through accurate medication fulfillment.
Location: Largo, MD
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time Contract | Temp-to-Perm
Assignment Dates: November 1 – December 14, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and fulfill pharmacy orders, ensuring compliance with protocols
- Manage inventory and medication labeling with attention to detail
- Support pharmacists in specialty medication dispensing
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Assist with prescription processing in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician registration (required)
- Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy technician experience
- Prior experience in fulfillment, preferably in retail, mail-order, or specialty pharmacy settings
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not mandatory
