Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to: Sales ManagerYour role and responsibilities:As the Large Customer Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective business area strategy within the Great Lakes Territory and maintain it, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be located within the Great Lakes territory (Western PA, WV, MI, OH, IN).This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings Division in the United States.You will be mainly accountable for:Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when neededQualifications for the role:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration or technical field with a minimum 7 years related experience, OR Master's degree in Engineering, or Marketing, or Business Administration or technical field with a minimum 5 years of related experience.Alternatively, this position may be filled at a more senior level for the successful candidate meeting these basic qualificationsExceptional analytical, communication and leadership skillsExperience selling to electrical contractors required.Understanding and experience with full portfolio of products and services (including power distribution one-line and installation products)Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB productsCandidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.More about us:ABB Smart Buildings enables optimization of energy efficiency, safety, security and comfort for any building type, through new installations or retrofit solutions.
