Overview
Laboratory Technologist (Medical Technologist) travel assignment in Helena, MT. Start date 08/30/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours 40 per week. Shift: Rotating 8-hour shifts (primarily evenings; may include 10-hour shifts; occasional day or night shift). Weekly pay: $1,676-$1,775 per week. Setting: hospital laboratory.

Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret clinical laboratory tests across Blood Bank, Hematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and related microbiology (including Gram stains); adhere to turnaround times and report critical values.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain instruments and systems including Siemens Aptio Line, Siemens Atellica, Sysmex XN9000, Sysmex UN3000 or Iris; manage Blood Bank reagents and Gel testing; support microbiology setup as assigned.
- Document results in the EMR (Epic and Sunquest Blood Bank) with accurate specimen labeling and chain-of-custody; perform quality control checks and troubleshoot instrument issues.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; perform routine instrument maintenance and quality control, participate in proficiency testing as required.
- Provide coverage for Blood Bank, Hematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and Gram stain workflows within the lab; no cross-department floating outside the laboratory; communicate critical results to clinical teams.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team and respond to urgent or emergent testing needs as part of a rotating schedule.

Requirements
- Active MT license required.
- CLS or MLT credentialed by ASCP or AMT required.
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Laboratory Technician experience; prior travel experience required.
- Proficiency with Epic and Sunquest Blood Bank modules; experience with Siemens Aptio Line, Siemens Atellica, Sysmex XN9000, Sysmex UN3000 or Iris; Gel testing for Blood Bank and Micro setups.
- Ability to work a rotating evenings schedule; may be asked to cover day or night shifts occasionally; able to work in a hospital laboratory environment and follow safety protocols.
- Travel assignment eligibility within a 200-mile radius rule as specified; complete submission with full demographic information (address, email, date of birth, SSN, full name) to move forward in the process.
