As a Production Techni cian with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will perform a variety of production assembly tasks, including a commitment to quality, Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS), safety rules, maintaining manufacturing standards and utilizing written procedures and documentation where appropriate. Production tasks require the ability to follow written/verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment.


Additional Duties:

• Perform simple assembly using microscope, basic tools, fine hand tools, epoxy/cures, inspection processes, and good soldering techniques.
• During production may perform such tasks as soldering, spot welding, and washing utilizing documentation such as drawings, routers, Bills of Material's and specification using the manufacturing standards, ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Must inspect all workmanship and special processes of an operation performed ensuring quality before moving into next operation. Show commitment to quality and Total Customer Satisfaction (TSC) through dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status.
• Responsible for knowing and using proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures as outlined in the ESD manual.
• Communicates with supervisors, lead persons and other departments concerning any problems with product, assembly, documentation, and/or schedule.
• Ensures that all material and equipment calibration dates are not expired before using, and notifies supervisor or lead person if expired or close to expiration.
• Performs other related duties as directed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High school graduate or GED
• Experience: Basic computer and electronic skills.
• Travel Requirement: NONE

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in Soldering
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
