Position Overview

Client is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to help design, build, deploy, and support production AI solutions and next-generation AI platform capabilities.

The ideal candidate is a strong senior software engineer with hands-on experience in Python, AI/ML application development, RAG, agentic workflows, APIs, cloud platforms, and modern software engineering practices . Candidates do not need extensive enterprise AI experience but should have a strong software engineering foundation, genuine interest in AI, and an understanding of concepts such as LLM token usage and cost.

This role will contribute to the transformation of an existing internal RAG chatbot platform into a scalable agentic AI platform supporting data and analytics use cases.

Required

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade production software .
• Strong Python development skills.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience building, deploying, and operating AI-powered applications or systems .
• Experience designing and implementing RAG solutions .
• Experience with Databricks .
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph or similar agent orchestration frameworks .
• Experience developing AI workflows that leverage tools, APIs, and external systems .
• Experience with AI evaluation frameworks and quality measurement .
• Experience implementing AI observability and tracing solutions.
• Understanding of agent architecture patterns, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation techniques .
• Production experience with AWS .
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs .
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices .
• Knowledge of secure coding principles and responsible AI practices .
• Experience working within Agile software development teams .
• At least 2+ years of corporate/enterprise software development experience with exposure to enterprise development standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, Java, or C# .
• Experience with Blue Prism or UiPath .
• Experience creating technical documentation and handling exception-management processes for automation solutions.
• Experience supporting automation platforms and collaborating with RPA/automation teams.
• Experience with AI/LLM personal projects, experimentation, or self-directed learning.
• Understanding of LLM token usage and cost considerations .
