HVAC Project Manager

HVAC Project ManagerAn experienced HVAC Project Manager with a strong background in sheet metal and mechanical piping systems to oversee multiple commercial HVAC projects from kickoff through completion. This role requires expertise in construction documentation, project coordination, client communication, and reviewing fabrication and coordination drawings to ensure quality and project success.Required:Experience managing HVAC projects involving sheet metal and mechanical piping systemsStrong understanding of duct fabrication, joints, and connections, including SMACNA and ASHRAE standardsExcellent blueprint reading and interpretation skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with RFIs, change orders, AIA billing, and construction project documentationFamiliarity with project management software such as Procore, Constructware, PlanGrid, or similar platformsExperience using Bluebeam (or Adobe Acrobat) for PDF markupsKnowledge of file sharing platforms including Procore, Box, and OneDriveExperience with Autodesk Navisworks or willingness to obtain certification (training provided)Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and other online meeting platformsAbility to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneouslyLeadership or team management experience is preferredJob Responsibilities:Manage multiple HVAC projects from project award through completionReview contract documents and estimates to confirm project scopePrepare project startup documentation, including product submittals, AIA billing forms, and client contact informationAttend coordination meetings with clients and project stakeholdersReview coordination and fabrication drawings prior to client submission to ensure quality and accuracyCoordinate with drafting teams to ensure deliverables meet project requirements and client expectationsTrack project documentation, RFIs, change orders, and billing throughout the project lifecycleMaintain communication with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors to keep projects on scheduleUtilize project management and collaboration software to organize project information and documentationEnsure projects are completed in accordance with contract requirements, industry standards, and company expectationsPay Range: $70k - $120k/yr.
