How Youll ContributeYoull serve as a key partner to the CEO and team by ensuring our financial, operational, and administrative work is consistent, accurate, and moving forward.Think of this role as:The hub of day-to-day operationsA trusted partner who keeps things on trackSomeone who adds structure, clarity, and follow-through What Youll DoFinancial Management & CompliancePrepare and track budgeting, forecasting, and cash flowHandle day-to-day accounting activities (AP/AR, reconciliations, expense tracking)Prepare financial reports and dashboardsSupport Board financial materials in partnership with the CEO and TreasurerCoordinate and support the annual audit process and ensure compliance requirements are metManage all federal and state filings; including nonprofit filings, tax reporting, registrations, and state charitable solicitation licenses, ensuring the Foundation remains in good standingOperations, Administration & Office ManagementManage and maintain the Foundations core operational processes, systems, and workflowsOversee day-to-day operations of the Foundations physical office space, including: Vendor coordination and relationshipsSupplies, equipment, and office-related expensesFacilities-related logistics and needsCoordinate contracts, vendors, and administrative processesMaintain organizational systems, timelines, and documentationEnsure consistent follow-through across priorities and workstreamsIdentify operational challenges and implement practical solutionsTechnology & Systems ManagementSupport effective use of Salesforce and other systemsIdentify ways to improve workflows and efficiencyEnsure systems are reliable, organized, and scalableHR & Team SupportSupport onboarding, offboarding, and benefits coordinationMaintain personnel documentation and compliance-related processesHelp to foster and support a collaborative, organized, and mission-focused team environmentProgram & Mission SupportTrack program budgets, contracts, timelines, and reportingProvide operational support for initiatives and eventsSupport volunteer engagement infrastructure as neededStrategic Partnership with the CEOTranslate priorities into actionable plans and timelinesTrack organizational goals and progressProvide regular updates and insights to support decision-makingHelp strengthen organizational capacity as CLFoundation grows What You Bring35 years of experience in operations, finance, or nonprofit managementStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple responsibilities independentlyComfort working both behind the scenes and in collaboration with othersProficiency with tools such as QuickBooks, Salesforce, and Microsoft OfficeExperience with nonprofit compliance, filings, or registrations is preferredA genuine commitment to mission-driven work and the community we serve Growth OpportunityThis role is designed to grow with the organization and is intended to evolve over time as CLFoundation expands its programs, partnerships, and impact.
