Payment Processing Analyst / Manager

Who You Are We are seeking a Payment Processing Analyst / Manager to execute high-volume disbursement processing for our claims administration business. This role is responsible for executing and supervising day-to-day payment operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments, and serving as a key point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and experienced in managing complex payment workflows. What You'll Do Execute end-to-end payment processing for claims distributions, including high volumes of checks, ACH, and wire payments using a combination of in- house systems and multiple banking platforms. Ensure timely, accurate, and secure execution of all disbursements. Supervise others responsible for payment processing. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Resolve positive pay exceptions, rejected payments, and client inquiries promptly and professionally. Serve as a primary point of contact with clients regarding payment status, reporting, and issue resolution. Prepare reports using advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations) as well as using in-house reporting software. Partner with internal teams (claims, IT etc.) to support seamless operations. Enforce internal controls, approval workflows, and audit-ready documentation. Monitor operational efficiency; recommend process improvements What You Bring Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. Experience in payment processing, treasury operations, claims administration, or financial operations a plus. High comfort level with technology, including financial systems and banking platforms Strong Excel skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities What We Offer Salary range: $65,000–$75,000, commensurate with experience.
