The facility is situated in the greater New York metropolitan area, placing clinicians on assignment within proximity of a range of year-round activities suited to varied interests. The area offers access to cultural destinations, culinary experiences, and outdoor activities, including Broadway shows, boat tours, and biking along the city's two rivers, as well as landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to an adult male patient population during day shift hours at an on-site transitional shelter facility in New York, working two 10-hour shifts per week with Wednesday as a required workday and the second day scheduled flexibly. The expected caseload is approximately 10 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities encompass general family medicine services, including the evaluation and management of primary care conditions for this population.
