Staff Accountant

Overview Start searching for a career with Graham Health Services. Department: Accounting. Type: Full-Time. Shift: 1st Shift. Hours: 80 hrs biweekly; 8:00am-4:30pm; M-F. Responsibilities The Staff Accountant role is responsible for supporting Graham Health System’s accounting and financial operations through accurate transaction processing, financial analysis support, reconciliations, and reporting functions. The Staff Accountant will support month-end close, account reconciliations, and daily accounting operational activities. This role will also be responsible for maintaining the financial records and reporting functions for the Graham Hospital Foundation. Reports to the Director of Accounting. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is preferred. Working knowledge of basic accounting procedures Understanding of GAAP Experience with general ledger transactions and month/year end close Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Benefits Cost of Living Adjustment every July Financial Assistance and Loan Forgiveness may be available Daycare Assistance Pay The pay grade assigned to this position is 290 0 ; the link provided shows the pay range.
