High School Assistant Principal

Job Summary Bethany High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our administrative team as a High School Assistant Principal. This full‑time position plays a crucial role in supporting the principal in the overall management of the school, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring academic excellence. Responsibilities Assist the principal in the development and implementation of school policies, procedures, and programs. Support and evaluate teaching staff to ensure high‑quality instruction and student engagement. Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies that meet the diverse needs of students. Oversee student discipline and behavior management, ensuring a safe and respectful school environment. Facilitate communication between students, parents, and staff to address academic and behavioral concerns. Coordinate and lead professional development opportunities for staff to enhance instructional practices. Assist in the management of school budgets and resources, ensuring efficient allocation of funds. Participate in the development and implementation of school improvement plans and initiatives. Monitor student attendance and academic performance, implementing interventions as needed. Organize and support extracurricular activities and events to promote student engagement and school spirit. Requirements Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field. Valid state certification as an Assistant Principal or Principal. Minimum of three years of teaching experience, with at least one year in a leadership role preferred. Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students, staff, and parents. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
