This role involves providing care for patients with a variety of acute medical conditions. The unit is a 34-bed medical-surgical unit that includes telemetry monitoring. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5-7 during shifts. The position requires managing complex patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have expertise in various medical procedures and patient management protocols. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment are essential. Nurses will participate in daily huddles, patient flow management, and patient rounding. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration for optimal patient care delivery.
