Schedule: Night shift, 19:00-07:30, choice of 3x12 or 4x12 schedules, includes 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period

Highlights:

• 13-week contract with potential for extension
• 34-bed medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities, treating a diverse range of acute medical conditions
• Patient ratios of 1:5-7, supported by interdisciplinary team including IV therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, and rapid response teams
• Cerner EMR system with comprehensive orientation provided
• Collaborative environment with clinical nurse coordinators on every shift and active nurse manager presence
• 12 hours of orientation to support your successful transition

Requirements:

• Active RN license (West Virginia or Compact state; pending license accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) through American Heart Association
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 or similar
• Proficiency in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing skills including central line care, blood product administration, heparin protocols, chest tubes, wound care, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Permanent address must be 75+ miles from facility location
• Minimum 2 professional references from managers or charge nurses within the past 2 years
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Reliable attendance is essential to this role
