Location: Glen Allen, VA
Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Tuesday | 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations, including patient rooming, scheduling, vital signs, phlebotomy, vaccinations, and other clinical support.

Responsibilities

Greet and room patients.
Schedule appointments and answer phones.
Take and record vital signs.
Perform blood draws and venipuncture.
Administer vaccines.
Perform EKG and Point-of-Care (POC) testing.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
Provide additional clinical support as needed.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years year of Medical Assistant experience in addition to an externship.
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.
EMR experience.
Front/back-office experience.
Experience with scheduling, patient rooming, vital signs, and POC testing.
BLS or CPR certification. Candidates without either may start pending approval from Marathon.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Medical Assistant Certification.
EKG experience.
Occupational Health experience.
