Forklift Operator – 1st Shift
Location: Ashland, VA
Pay: $18–$20/hour (based on experience)
Overview
We are seeking reliable, safety-focused Forklift Operators to join a fast-paced warehouse operation in Ashland, VA. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in accuracy, teamwork, and maintaining a safe work environment. Openings are available on both 1st and 2nd shift , offering flexibility to fit your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, stage, and stack materials.
- Load and unload trucks while verifying product counts and ensuring proper handling.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Support inventory accuracy and keep warehouse areas organized.
- Work closely with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Qualifications
- Forklift experience required; some positions require stock picker, reach truck or electric pallet jack experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials throughout the shift.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-minded.
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is needed
