MRI Technologist

Job Summary To provide diagnostic imaging services using MRI technology to patients, ensuring quality care and accurate results. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI procedures on patients as prescribed by physicians. Operate MRI scanner and associated equipment safely and effectively. Prepare patients for MRI scans, including explaining procedures and addressing concerns. Administer contrast media when indicated, following established protocols. Monitor patients during MRI scans, ensuring their comfort and safety. Ensure image quality meets diagnostic standards. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system. Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA policies and procedures. Schedule / Shift Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Rotating Weekends Required Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. MRI registered. Certifications MRI (e.g., ARMRIT, ARRT(MR)) Experience Experience performing MRI Contrast and Non-Contrast procedures. Skills Proficient in operating GE MRI equipment. Ability to prepare and administer contrast media. Strong understanding of MRI physics and safety protocols. Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
