Our client, a long-standing and reputable manufacturing company, is looking to add an experienced Accounting Manager to their team. With a broad product line, this organization offers both stability and complexity, making it an excellent environment for a skilled accounting professional.
This role is highly visible and hands-on, ideal for someone with strong manufacturing accounting experience who enjoys working closely with operations, taking ownership of key processes, and driving improvements. The Accounting Manager will also play a pivotal role in an upcoming ERP implementation.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations within a manufacturing setting
- Lead cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and margin evaluation
- Oversee inventory accounting to ensure accuracy, proper controls, and timely reporting
- Direct month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting support
- Partner with teams across production, supply chain, sales, and leadership to ensure alignment between financial data and operations
- Act as a key contributor in the ERP migration
- Review and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and reporting capabilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff, including one direct report
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in cost accounting and inventory management
- Experience supporting or leading ERP implementation
- Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and manufacturing accounting practices
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and communication abilities
- Comfortable working fully on-site in a fast-paced, operations-focused environment
