About the Role
We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a customer-focused individual with a passion for design and a flair for helping people transform their homes and businesses. You will be responsible for guiding customers through their flooring journey, ensuring an exceptional experience every step of the way.
What You'll Do
Guide customers through the selection process, ensuring they choose the perfect flooring product for their needs.
Deliver expert advice on flooring features, benefits, and warranties to customers, providing them with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.
Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing, with up-to-date displays and samples that showcase our products.
Build strong relationships with clients and deliver outstanding customer service, going above and beyond to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
Accurately record sales orders, including installation expectations and payment processing, to ensure seamless transactions.
Follow up with customers after installations to ensure they are satisfied with their new flooring and address any concerns they may have.
Develop personalized product recommendations for customers based on their unique needs and preferences.
Nurture relationships with clients to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.
Participate in store promotions, events, and product training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and products.
Requirements
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for in-home visits.
Flexible availability, including some Saturdays.
Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with retail systems is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Sales experience or a background in design or home improvement is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
