Radiology Technologist II - Weekend

Job Summary Under the direction of the Radiology Director and Manager, produce quality diagnostic radiographs (OR, Fluoro, Dexa, EOS) to ensure proper diagnosis and quality patient care. Responsibilities Produce quality radiographs using appropriate exposure techniques and proper use of metal markers. Document patient history and verify physician orders. Perform OR/surgery exams with C‑arms and portable machines. Supervise and teach radiology students during clinical rotations. Communicate technical information appropriately to patients and staff. Maintain a clean, orderly work area and adhere to safety, infection control, and environmental policies. Attend departmental in‑services, meetings, and education sessions. Perform additional duties as required by supervisors. Practice universal precautions, dispose hazardous waste per guidelines, and maintain a safe environment. Obtain 24 CE points every two years and maintain ASRT standing. Provide service excellence with respect, compassion, HIPAA compliance, and teamwork. Incorporate quality improvement into daily work and contribute data to QI teams. Enter exam information accurately and timely into the Radiology module and ensure completion status. Provide age‑appropriate care for patients ranging from children to geriatrics. Qualifications and Requirements Graduate of a Radiology Technology program; registry eligible. Minimum two years radiology technology experience preferred. State professional license: ARRT‑R Radiography. BLS Health‑Care Provider certification. Physical ability to stand, walk for long periods; lift, push, pull ≥100lbs and move/transfer patients.
