With a team-oriented philosophy, we strive to create an environment where therapists can collaborate, share knowledge, and support one another in providing exceptional care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions by reviewing medical histories and performing detailed assessments to formulate effective treatment plans.Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting for their rehabilitation journey.Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient'sunique needs, adjusting as necessary for optimal recovery outcomes.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, recognizing and documenting any changes in patients' conditions that may necessitate updates to care plans.Participate actively in discharge planning and ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities, which includes comprehensive notes on initial evaluations, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.Manage schedules effectively, demonstrate accountability for productivity standards, and actively take part in marketing initiatives that enhance patient access and experience.Engage with ongoing professional development activities and contribute to departmental objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.Foster a supportive environment for patients, focusing on patient engagement and satisfaction through flexible and adaptable treatment methodologies.Patient Population / Client FocusOur physical therapists work with a varied patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, accidents, and chronic ailments. We pride ourselves on delivering personalized care that addresses not just physical rehabilitation but also the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery, ensuring a holistic approach to patient wellness.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility for licensure in Virginia is required.Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is mandatory.Preferred ExperienceWhile prior work experience in a similar setting is valued, it is not a strict requirement for applicants. We welcome emerging professionals who are eager to learn and contribute to our mission.
