Mail Production Specialist

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Support high-volume repository operations by managing the intake, scanning, documentation, and sorting of incoming and outgoing paper correspondence. This role ensures department production, safety, and quality processing standards are met daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open, sort, and prepare incoming corporate mail and paper documents.

• Image and scan incoming correspondence using high-speed processing equipment.

• Record specified incoming documents and maintain accurate processing records.

• Appropriately file imaged claims, appeals, and system adjustments.

• Identify, document, and generate correspondence related to file submission errors.

• Lift and carry mail totes and trays weighing 35-40 pounds regularly.

• Support team members across operational areas and manage flexible daily overtime (up to 8 hours per week) based on mail counts.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent credential.

• strong, manual processing speed and acute attention to detail.

• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 40 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic computer skills to navigate processing software and log system data.
