LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in the Fort Worth area seeking an Accounting Associate to support daily accounting operations. This position offers a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles who enjoys a hands-on role involving accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and general ledger support. , strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative accounting team. Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable invoices, verify accuracy, code expenses and coordinate vendor payments. Maintain vendor records, reconcile statements and research invoice or payment discrepancies. Prepare customer invoices, apply payments and assist with accounts receivable activities. Perform bank, customer and general ledger account reconciliations. Assist with journal entries and month-end close activities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately. Support inventory-related accounting, including work-in-process (WIP) transactions, reconciliations and inventory reporting. Assist with intercompany transactions and related accounting activities. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Support financial reporting, audits and special accounting projects as needed. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. Qualifications:

2-3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including accounts payable and exposure to accounts receivable. Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including debits, credits, journal entries and general ledger activity. Experience performing bank reconciliations and researching account discrepancies. Understanding of invoice coding, expense recognition and basic accounting transactions. Experience with inventory accounting or work-in-process (WIP) preferred. QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables. Familiarity with GAAP and month-end close processes. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and problem-solving abilities. What We Offer:
