This position is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and appliance repairs to maintain property standards and resident satisfaction. The maintenance technician will conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot issues, and execute timely repairs to prevent property deterioration and costly emergency interventions. Working closely with property management, the role demands a proactive approach to maintenance requests and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Responsibilities: Maintenance appearance and maintenance of the community Diagnose and repair mechanical systems and equipment to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards. .Execute preventative maintenance programs Complete make readies in a detailed and timely manner including painting of units Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property management, providing clear communication and timely resolution. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, materials used, and time spent on each task. Collaborate with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs or large-scale projects are required Adhere to and comply with company safety policies and rules Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years maintenance experience (at least 3 years in multi-family industry) required Experience working in Class A property management industry. EPA Certification is required, Type I & II CPO Certification preferred Make ready and painting experience required Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting software- Yardi experience is a plus Effective communication skills to understand work orders and interact with residents and team members Must be able to take part in on-call rotation for after hours emergencies Current and valid driver's license and auto insurance required High school diploma or equivalent.
