Operational Risk Manager

An internationally leading quant trading firm in Chicago is hiring an Operational Risk Manager to enhance its risk and control frameworks by leveraging expertise in data analytics and AI. This role will collaborate closely with the trading floor and provide strategic advice to stakeholders across the firm on risk mitigation strategies. Ideal candidates will have experience in risk management within a trading environment and a strong background in data analytics and AI tools. Responsibilities Design and implement operational risk to monitor processes for trading and technology systems Collaborate with business stakeholders and advise on operational risk management best practices Investigate operational incidents and drive systematic improvements to prevent recurrence Develop risk reporting and metrics to be communicated to senior stakeholders Conduct risk and control assessments of business and technological processes Build relationships across the organization to influence risk culture and best practices Qualifications 5 years of experience in Operational Risk Experience in market making, algo trading, or prop trading Experienced in data analytics and AI tools Knowledge of regulatory frameworks Bachelor's degree or equivalent #J-18808-Ljbffr Selby Jennings
