Shipping Specialist Shipping Specialist needed for a wholesale locksmith distribution center based in the Hollywood area. Schedule: 9am – 6pm, Monday – Friday Pay: $14 per hour Temp‑Hire opportunity Job Overview Retail warehouse fulfillment specialist responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders of tools, keys, locks, and related supplies in a climate‑controlled warehouse. Responsibilities Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items. Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area. Unload merchandise from trucks and verify that they match delivery documents such as the bill of lading, shipping invoice or delivery note. Verify goods are intact and report any defects. Perform inventory controls and maintain quality standards for audits. Complete deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors. Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and conducting weekly cycle counts. Maintain quality service by following organization standards. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers. Qualifications Teamwork, coordination, organization, planning, time management, and communication skills. Inventory control and documentation skills. Equipment maintenance knowledge. Dependability.
