Sponsorship Sales Representative (Independent Contractor)

Chicago KICS Youth Soccer Club is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Sponsorship Sales Representative to identify, cultivate, negotiate, and secure corporate and local sponsorships, gifts, and donations for our organization . You will have autonomy over your sales approach while representing our club to local businesses and regional enterprise partners .

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a minimum of 30 prospective sponsor outreach contacts (pitches, calls, or in-person meetings) per calendar month .

• Cultivate relationships with local businesses (B2C) and regional/enterprise corporate partners (B2B) .

• Provide a monthly activity pipeline report to the Board/Director on or before the 1st of each month .

• Collaborate on pitch assets and marketing collateral to close deals .

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B or B2C sales, business development, or sports sponsorship acquisition.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline efficiently .

• Strong organizational skills and commitment to meeting monthly activity metrics .

Compensation & Perks

• Monthly Retainer: $500/month base retainer to cover overhead, prospect research, and pitch prep .

• Tiered Commission Structure:

  • Local B2C Deals (<$5k): 15% – 20% net cash collected .

  • Enterprise / B2B Deals ($5k+): 10% – 15% net cash collected .

  • Multi-Year Renewals: 5% – 10% net cash collected .

  • In-Kind / Trade Contributions: 5% – 10% of FMV saved .

• Performance Expectations: Opportunity to establish long-term partnership with a initial 90-day evaluation milestone ($10k sales target) .
