HR Assistant/ Recruiter

Our client, a dynamic organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking an HR Assistant to join their team. As an HR Assistant, you will be part of the Human Resources department supporting site-level HR functions. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: HR Assistant/Recruiter
Location: Lynwood, CA
Pay Range: $18-22/hr
What's the Job?
Assist with administering HR plans and procedures for all personnel at the site.
Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Participate in recruitment efforts for both exempt and non-exempt roles.
Help communicate benefits information and assist with benefits administration.
Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED required.
At least 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
