UCS is a third party debt collection company that has been in business for over 35 years providing superior customer service to our clients. Due to our continued growth and success we have immediate openings for dynamic, motivated individuals.

Job Duties :

• Communicate with consumers via telephone on an inbound and outbound dialing system.
• Manage multiple accounts to resolve consumer account balances.
• Demonstrate superior customer service skills, patience and diligence with each account.
• Provide consistent follow-up with consumers.
• Collect full balances or negotiate highest possible payment arrangements with consumers.
• Keep detailed records of all consumer communications and payment arrangements.
• Use automated dialing technology as well as manual calling methods.
• Follow scripting specific to department.
• Process immediate payments establish recurring payments and follow specific scripting for PCI compliance.
• Meet and/or exceed monthly financial goals.

Knowledge and Skills :

• Demonstrated skill in negotiating and resolving conflicts.
• Ability to speak persuasively and listen critically.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Prioritize multiple tasks demonstrating a high level of detail
• Excellent customer service, problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Must be friendly and outgoing.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Ability to think critically.
• Must be reliable, responsible, goal oriented and flexible.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish a plus.
