Ultrasound Technologist Chesterfield FSER

Job Responsibilities Obtain quality ultrasound images of patients, following protocols and adjusting as necessary. Manage ultrasound equipment and interpret diagnostic information. Perform computer operations such as Meditech and PACS, ensuring accurate charges and verification of physician orders. Provide patient care in a professional manner. Prepare examination rooms for procedures, monitor supplies inventory and maintain room cleanliness. Assist the radiology nurse or radiologist in administering medications, performing biopsies and patient care. Review exams for technical accuracy and complete verification in PACS. Assist in PACS clean‑up tasks such as unarchiving images. Complete and maintain required educational and certification requirements. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and patient information. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date. Vocational School Graduate.
