Operations Manager

TTG Staffing Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client, a growing restoration company serving Northwest Indiana. Our client specializes in water damage restoration, fire damage restoration, mold remediation, and emergency response services. Their team is trusted to help homeowners and businesses recover when disaster strikes, and they are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead their restoration division. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to manage field teams, and can balance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability Important This position supports a 24/7 emergency service operation. Candidates must be willing to be available for urgent operational needs outside of normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary. Position Overview The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day performance of the restoration division, including team leadership, scheduling, project execution, customer satisfaction, and operational growth. The ideal candidate understands that restoration is not a traditional 9-to-5 industry. Emergencies happen around the clock, and strong leadership during critical situations is essential. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and hold accountable restoration technicians, crew chiefs, and field personnel Oversee scheduling, dispatching, staffing, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability Ensure restoration projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and in accordance with company quality standards Monitor operational KPIs, job costing, and divisional performance while implementing process improvements Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, insurance professionals, property managers, and referral partners Recruit, train, and retain top-performing team members while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, IICRC standards, and company safety protocols Provide leadership and support during emergency response situations, including after-hours, weekend, and holiday service calls Qualifications Required 3+ years of operations management, service management, or field leadership experience Experience leading multiple crews or service teams in restoration, construction, mitigation, or a related skilled trade Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Experience managing operational budgets, job profitability, or P&L performance Valid driver’s license Ability to pass a background check Willingness to obtain IICRC certifications if not currently certified Ability and willingness to respond to business-critical emergencies outside of normal working hours Preferred Water, fire, and/or mold restoration experience Experience with Xactimate or similar restoration software Knowledge of insurance claims and restoration workflows OSHA 30 Certification What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a leader who takes ownership, solves problems before they become emergencies, and can keep teams focused when situations become challenging.
