Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Tech to join a Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sterilizing and preparing surgical instruments, ensuring compliance with hospital standards, and supporting various hospital departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Sterilize, decontaminate, and assemble surgical instruments according to protocols
• Inspect and wrap instrument sets for sterilization consistency
• Maintain documentation of sterilization procedures and equipment checks
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other departments to meet operational needs
• Float within scope to support sister facilities and departments
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of sterile processing experience in a healthcare setting
• Certified through CBSPD and/or HSAR required
• Demonstrate proficiency in sterilization, decontamination, and instrument assembly
• Experience with neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, or GYN cases preferred
• Holding a valid South Carolina RN license or eligible for licensing; local candidates preferred
• Able to work evening shifts on a 5x8 schedule, with flexibility for floating
