Reno Staffing is looking for an HR Assistant for a construction industry company in the Sparks area!

This is an excellent temporary HR opportunity providing 16–18 weeks of steady, fulltime work while supporting a busy construction company during a maternity leave. This role offers consistent hours, a professional office environment, and the chance to step into a key HR support position. Great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fastpaced setting and helping employees daily.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Pay: $25.00/hour

Location: Sparks, NV 89431

Summary

The HR Assistant will support the HR department during a maternity leave period. This includes assisting with payroll, employee communication, onboarding, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish, comfortable multitasking, and able to jump in wherever needed in a busy construction office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.

• Payroll support — tracking and verifying employee hours

• Employee communication — answering phones, emails, and text messages

• Support for field employees and office staff

• General HR and administrative support

• Assist with onboarding and employee inquiries

• Use of Paycor and WorkMax systems

• Additional jobrelated tasks as assigned by the supervisor or lead

Competency

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

• Previous HR experience (preferred)

• Fluent Spanish communication — 95% of workforce is Spanishspeaking

• Strong computer skills

• Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment

• Professional communication skills (phone, email, text)

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to learn quickly

• Experience with Paycor or WorkMax (a plus)

• Construction industry experience (a plus)
