About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer (CCPRCO) to oversee the integrity, ethics, privacy, and research compliance program across its various healthcare and academic operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the enterprise compliance program, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, and serving as the principal compliance advisor to the executive team and board. This role involves directing the HIPAA privacy and security program, overseeing the research compliance program, and leading internal investigations and government inquiry responses. The CCPRCO will also be tasked with leading the annual compliance risk assessment, and work plan, and embedding compliance into decision-making processes. Applicants for the CCPRCO position at the company must have a Master's degree in a relevant field or a Doctorate degree, along with certification in healthcare compliance, privacy compliance, research compliance, or compliance and ethics. The role requires deep regulatory expertise in various healthcare laws and regulations, as well as a strong background in research compliance, investigations, and enforcement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in risk assessment, data analytics, executive communication, and board governance, and the ability to lead and influence in a complex academic-clinical environment. Skills in program building and talent development are also essential for this leadership position.
