Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Contribute to assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through careful analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgical teams to devise and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies for patients
• Offer intraoperative assistance, which entails preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during operations
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, attending to wounds, developing discharge plans, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience through clinical rotations focused on surgical care is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in both BLS and ACLS is mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
