Managing Consultant - Corporate Finance - Transaction Advisory

The BRG Transaction Advisory practice is recruiting experienced professionals to support a diverse range of transaction advisory assignments. The role involves articulating findings and recommendations on key financial and business issues to drive value creation. Responsibilities Support day‑to‑day activities of the Corporate Finance – Transaction Advisory client service teams in buy and sell side diligence engagements. Delegate, supervise and lead engagement work, ensuring balanced project ownership and consistent quality. Identify issues for purchase price adjustments and provide deal structuring insights. Perform quality of earnings, financial trend analysis, working‑capital trending, benchmark analysis, financial statement review, business‑plan assessment and cash‑flow analyses. Develop reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables. Collaborate with TA and BRG experts, external professionals, and client contacts to achieve engagement objectives. Contribute to practice growth through marketing, client pitches, product development and entrepreneurial activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA or CPA a plus). 6+ years of experience, preferably in consulting or professional services. Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, including construction and interpretation of 3‑statement financial models, cash‑flow and scenario analysis. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large volumes of financial and operational data. Excellent written and oral communication; ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior management and stakeholders. Strong project‑management, problem‑solving and time‑management skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and financial research tools (Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.). Willingness and availability to travel up to 25% of the time. Legal right to work in the United States (no sponsorship required). Salary Competitive salary range of $120,000 to $185,000 per year.
