Looking for a role where your skills in the kitchen, behind the register, and at the coffee bar can shine? Mountain Gap Market, nestled in the charming town of Paris, VA, is on the lookout for an experienced Barista to join our team. If you’re passionate about coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for customer service, we’d love to hear from you!
What You'll Be DoingAs a Barista at Mountain Gap Market, you’ll wear many hats to ensure our customers have an exceptional experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Crafting delicious coffee and espresso beverages with precision and care.
- Operating the cash register and handling transactions accurately.
- Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Providing warm, friendly service to every customer who walks through our doors.
- Keeping the coffee bar and kitchen stocked, organized, and spotless.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
To thrive in this role, you should bring the following to the table:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a barista, in a kitchen, or as a cashier.
- Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
- Attitude: A positive, team-oriented mindset and a passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
- Flexibility: Willingness to jump in wherever needed, whether it’s brewing coffee, prepping food, or ringing up customers.
