Human Resources Manager

About the Role Capital Hospice & Palliative Care LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee and coordinate all human resources activities for our hospice and palliative care organization. The HR Manager will lead employee recruitment, selection, onboarding, retention, orientation, training, compliance, employee relations, and HR policy implementation. This position works closely with the Executive Director/Adloministrator and management team to support a strong, compliant, and positive workplace environment. Key Responsibilities Direct daily human resources operations and oversee the implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and CHAP requirements related to human resources, employment, and employee education. Oversee recruitment, selection, hiring, onboarding, orientation, retention, and termination processes. Partner with management to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Monitor recruitment efforts and evaluate their effectiveness and cost. Research market compensation, wages, salaries, and benefits and make recommendations to leadership. Support the organization in maintaining a competitive compensation and benefits structure. Promote Capital Hospice & Palliative Care LLC as an employer of choice within the community. Assist with the annual HR department budget and monitor resources within budgetary guidelines. Coordinate and participate in community recruitment and awareness events, including health fairs. Work with leadership to identify employee education and training needs. Develop and coordinate employee orientation, training, and continuing education programs. Recruit, select, supervise, and manage HR team members as needed. Maintain comprehensive HR resources and educational materials for employees. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and personnel information. Monitor employee satisfaction regarding benefits and the work environment and communicate findings to leadership. Make recommendations regarding organizational structure, employee benefits, and cost-effective HR programs. Perform other HR-related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of healthcare management experience , preferably within hospice or palliative care. At least 2 years of experience in employee recruitment and training preferred. Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment regulations and CHAP requirements. Understanding of healthcare and corporate business management principles. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills. Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Ability to work independently with autonomy, professionalism, and sound judgment. Flexible, cooperative, and able to work effectively with employees and leadership at all levels. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
