Line Cook

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver, operated by Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks a dedicated Culinary Team member to support kitchen operations and elevate guest experiences. Job Overview As a Cook, you will collaborate with the Chef and culinary leadership to produce high‑quality menu items for a variety of service settings including cafeteria, banquet, dining room and fine dining. You will help maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment and ensure consistent food preparation and presentation. Responsibilities Assist the Chef and kitchen staff in food production, fabrication, and plating. Develop skill in grill, sauté, and fry techniques. Learn knife skills and handle kitchen equipment safely. Recreate recipes and adhere to established standards. Maintain consistent quality and timing for all food items. Minimize waste through cross‑utilization of ingredients. Work with a world‑class culinary team to create and refine menus. Set up and maintain workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment. Prepare ingredients (chopping, peeling, cutting) for use in cooking. Keep the kitchen sanitized, orderly, and compliant with health regulations. Ensure proper storage and handling of all food and related items. Take ownership of ingredient quality and overall production support. Qualifications 1–3 years of professional kitchen experience. Active Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain one. Availability for varied day, night, and weekend shifts. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Capability to work independently and collaboratively. Physical stamina for prolonged standing and lifting at least 50lb. Minimum age of 21 years. Energetic, positive attitude with a desire to exceed expectations. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $21.50 – $23.00.
