Investor Relations Manager

Company Overview A wealth management service organization with approximately $800 million in assets under management is seeking an Investor Relations Manager. This role will focus on managing investor relations for a pooled investment vehicle, ensuring effective communication and compliance with regulatory obligations. Job Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for investors in the Fund and maintain professional, proactive, and responsive communication throughout the investor lifecycle. Oversee the preparation, review, and distribution of investor communications, including capital statements, periodic reports, notices, subscription materials, and other investor-facing correspondence. Direct and oversee the Administrator’s investor relations team to ensure investor servicing activities are performed in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner. Act as a principal liaison among the Fund, the Administrator, compliance personnel, and other service providers with respect to investor-related matters. Oversee investor onboarding and ongoing account maintenance, including subscriptions, AML/KYC documentation, transfers, redemptions, and investor information updates. Monitor the completeness and accuracy of investor records, contact information, capital activity records, and related data maintained by the Administrator. Review investor reporting prepared by the Administrator to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with Fund governing documents and applicable requirements. Develop investor reports as needed to support ongoing investor communications and information requests. Maintain ownership of offering documents, side letters, investor notices, and other Fund governance-related investor materials, including supporting their accuracy, organization, and ongoing maintenance. Coordinate the preparation, review, and distribution of offering documents, side letters, investor notices, and other Fund governance-related investor materials with internal and external stakeholders. Manage investor inquiries, requests, and service issues in a timely and professional manner, including escalation of complex matters where appropriate. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support compliance with applicable Cayman Islands requirements, Fund governing documents, and investor-related regulatory obligations. Establish, monitor, and enhance procedures and controls relating to investor servicing activities performed by the Administrator to promote operational effectiveness and service quality. Provide management with regular updates regarding investor relations activity, service issues, investor concerns, and other matters affecting investor servicing. Support investor meetings, due diligence processes, and ongoing investor information requests by coordinating responses across internal teams and the Administrator. Track and help ensure implementation of investor-specific rights, obligations, and reporting requirements arising underside letters or similar arrangements. Identify and implement opportunities to strengthen investor servicing, communication practices, and coordination with the Administrator to improve the overall investor experience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in investor relations, fund administration, client service, fund operations, or a related function within the asset management, hedge fund, private fund, endowment & foundation, or alternative investment industry. Extensive experience with private pooled investment vehicles and institutional or sophisticated investors. Working knowledge of Cayman Islands fund structures, fund governing documents, AML/KYC requirements, and related investor servicing obligations preferred. Strong understanding of private pooled investment vehicle structures, including hedge funds, private funds, and other alternative investment products.
