Physician - Internal Medicine

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 181-day assignment in New Mexico, starting Nov 26, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call shifts from 7a-7a, focusing on acute patient care in the Emergency Department. The physician will manage a diverse range of pulmonary and critical care cases, including asthma, COPD, respiratory failure, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, and hypertension. Responsibilities and Duties Manage cases involving asthma and COPD Address respiratory failure Treat pneumonia Handle pulmonary embolism and hypertension Additional Information Board Certifications: Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease EMR system: Medhost Patient volume: Approximately 15-25 patients per shift Call schedule: 24-hour call (7a-7a) Work setting: Emergency Department Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided #J-18808-Ljbffr Barton Associates
