Surgical Technologist - Level 1 Trauma

This position requires working four 10-hour shifts per week on a rotating schedule, which includes days, evenings, and nights. Call and weekend availability is required with a 30-minute call response time.

The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for providing surgical assistance in a Level 1 Trauma environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and will be proficient in a variety of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurology, Vascular, and Trauma.

Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring the operating room is prepared and sterile.

Coordinate with surgeons and other medical staff for optimal surgical outcomes.

Handle surgical instruments and equipment, including expertise in Cardiac Robotics, LVAD, and Heart Transplant procedures.

Maintain a high standard of patient care and support throughout the surgical process.

Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting.

Recent travel experience is preferred.

Proficiency in Cardiac Robotics and associated surgical procedures.

Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
