Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Location Dupont, IN

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to obstetrical patients. As part of our team, you will manage a variety of care needs, including preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM), induction of labor (IOL), and cesarean deliveries, within a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside care for obstetrical patients presenting with diverse conditions.
Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Cerner EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Registered Nurse licensure in Indiana.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
